Once upon a time...
The Inception…

An intense research for a period of nine months matched with a little bit of an impulse resulted in the birth of Almond House towards the end of 1989. Consumer satisfaction being the primary goal and also giving high regard to the implied trust place by them in terms of purity, taste, hygiene and health enabled us to state the objective in the form of the credo “ Purity in Good Taste and Purity in Good Will”

Early Growth…

A quarter of a century forward and Almond House has gained synonymity with purity, in good taste and in good will. For us, Almond House is our labor of love. We have taken traditional sweetmeat shops to a whole new level… a little less sweet and a bit more sophisticated. Presentation, style, and flavor are what have set Almond house apart. Hyderabadis pamper us with their patronage, we in turn dutifully sweeten their lives wisely. Along with our wide assortment of traditional Mithai, Namkeen and Dry Fruits, we at Almond House offer a diverse variety of Eggless Confectionery, Natural Ice Creams and Chocolates.

Purity First…

Keeping true to the high level of purity, we chose a three dimensional approach in our cooking methodology and simplified all the recipes to the minimum like the ones generally adopted by home makers and staying away from all unnecessary additives like colours and artificial flavours and accepting the fact that adding sugar beyond the minimum required level is nothing but a form of adulteration and consumer exploitation that results in poor taste and ill health. Not only are we located in one of the most amazing cities in the country, but we are also privileged that we get to create new, exciting and wholesome delicacies everyday for the people we love. Unique flavors and a passion for sharing our craft obsession inspire our premium line of sweets and savories.. They’re all natural, perfectly balanced, meticulously handcrafted and packaged with pride. You’ll see why when you taste them.


Innovation Personified...

Innovation is the fourth dimension that has helped us keep our leadership position in setting trends, despite our choice to be a modest niche player catering to a relatively small segment of discerning consumers. Examples in the past have been gift-worthy packaging which is now an industry norm as well as savouries with that extra oil expelled by the centrifugal force is a practice also adopted widely. Further, in the interest of quality control, we adopted the rule that everything sold from our store should be produced in our kitchen right from the very basic raw materials (Not even purchase of intermediate substances like Khoa). Finally, our unique product Almond Bisticks has since been flatteringly being imitated by everybody in the trade but has not yet been matched.


To Infinity and Beyond...

We are also aware of our role in society, particularly in the field of education, by encouraging and mentoring youth towards entrepreneurship. We wish for social change towards an equitable society as well as an environmentally sustainable one. For now we are content with having contributed in a positive, albeit modest way to the dignity of the trade and of its stakeholders including its employees and associates.
